Collection: Indian Cents

Minted in the U.S from 1859-1909, the Indian Cent replaced the Flying Eagle cent (which replaced the oh so heavy to carry around Large Cent).  It was minted in copper-nickel from 1859-1864.  From 1864 to 1909, they were minted in bronze.  These coins were absolutely beautiful, with excellent details on the Indian's headdress and the wreath on the reverse.
