A small specimen from the recently discovered deposit of this fascinating pink opal in the Pisco Province of the Ica Department of Peru. Between layers of a light coating of hyalite opal (now called Opal-(AN)) peeks out the rich salmon pink of the opal. This is the prettiest specimen we have of pink opal.
