A fascinating specimen that can stand in either direction - it is chock full of sparkling drusy perchers and a few chunks of calcite. Interesting to note that there are probably a few very clear Herkimer Diamonds under the calcite. Calcite forms last in the pockets and often covers some of the prettiest, clearest quartz crystals. We didn't fuss with it, although vinegar will dissolve the calcite, it could also dislodge the crystals under it. This weighs 1.704 lbs and is 7" x 3".
