The exterior of Agate Geode Half 059 is notable for its gray and chalky appearance. The polished face showcases the impressive ring of quartz points around the edge before it filled in with dark gray agate. The cavity is also lined with a fine druzy coating of quartz, giving the specimen a unique sparkle when light shines through the diamond shaped hole at the back of the druze. This Brazilian agate measures 2.5 inches in length and 1.25 inches in width, weighing a total of 3.11 ounces.
