The Night

The night we shared the dark... with the full moon rising above...too cold for bats but their spirit lingers...the night we held hands, breathing heavily as we scuffled quickly through the leaves, shadows crept by as we whispered in the dark...The night, in silence, wrapped around us, daring us to break the sounds no one could hear...but we kept going towards it,  strengthening the shiver of the night we shared the dark...
