Two nice sized diopside crystals rest on top of the matrix, while needle like crystals are spread throughout. The matrix is soft and almost waxy with layers like one would expect from Fuschite - but it is more white than green. You can see where there were other diopside crystals embedded at one time. This is a really pretty specimen. 1.37 oz, 1.5"x 1.5".
